There is an extensive range of consumer goods and services available throughout the island. Many of the popular imported brand names are readily available and can be found in local supermarkets. Fresh local produce can be purchased from a wide variety of markets and small stores and there is wide range of wines and spirits at very low costs.
With the existing shops and supermarkets around the Bogaz area - in Iskele , Mehmetçik, Kumyali and Famagusta, which all offer superb bargains and all within a short distance of travel. The furthest from Bogaz being Famagusta which is about a 15 minute drive.
There is now ,quite large, The Marda shopping complex just
outside İskele and two other supermarkets, Lemar in Bogaz and
Tesko in Iskele,worth visiting.
Further more , between Sinirüstü and Iskele on the Ercan Airport main road,
phase 2 of the very large Shopping Precinct - Marda which is under construction
to be completed with in one year. Marda will not only offers supermarkets but other stores which include
